Pieter Ceizer is an Amsterdam-raised, Paris-based typographer and artist. Known for his witty line-and-letter drawings, he playfully blends words and shapes, creating a colorful universe of humor, poetry, and empowerment.

Letters and words are at the center of Ceizer’s work, executed in different media such as canvas, steel, wood, and paper. Ceizer believes in the power of the written word. The written word is one of the strongest ways to communicate and share thoughts or emotions. A written word on its own is an abstract idea; its meaning depends on the reader. Written words create an image of an idea in the mind of the reader, which can influence the reader’s thoughts. Written words can stimulate the brain and even change the way we act in life.

Ceizer’s work has been exhibited internationally, from Amsterdam to Paris, Miami, Virginia, Taipei, and Tokyo.

In addition to his art, Ceizer has collaborated with brands such as Paris Saint-Germain, Adobe, Sotheby’s, and UNIQLO.
